Key Fobs Nite Glow Pencil ![]() -A fire department was throwing a party for children in an effort to promote a safer alternative to trick or treating. The fire department handed out Halloween pencils with "Have a Safe and Happy Halloween" and the name of the fire department to parents of the children. They created goodwill with the parents of the children attending and the children were able to use the pencils and remember the event for a long time. -A bowling alley wanted to promote their new concept for midnight bowling. They placed articles in papers with a coupon that guaranteed a free gift to those who presented it at the midnight event. Every person that brought the coupon received a pencil. When it was time for bowling to begin, the lights on the lanes were turned down and everyone realized that the pencils actually glowed in the dark. Opening night was a success and the pencils were in high demand for weeks to come. -In order to increase membership, a country club hosted a road race at night for elementary students and their parents. Upon completion each child received a Nite Glow pencil that read “Moonlight Run… brought to you by the country club that lights the way”. Parents were very pleased with the outcome and the pencils were a great reminder of how well the event went and increased the awareness of that country club. -At a cavern tour each tour guide carried a handful of Nite Glow pencils while their group was instructed to “follow the glow where ever it goes”. At the end of the tour, each person who completed the hike was handed one of the pencils that the guide carried. The pencils had the name of the cavern they just explored and a website they could go to for more information on that cavern. |
